PIA Press Release Tuesday, January 03, 2012 PRC opens its doors to Kabankalan residentsKABANKALAN CITY, Neg.Occ., January 3 (PIA6) -- The Philippine Red Cross, Bacolod City Chapter, will open a branch in Kabankalan City to maximize its delivery of basic services in the southern part of Negros Occidental, a press release from Kabankalan said. The branch in Kabankalan City will upgrade the capability of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in meeting the needs of residents in Disrict V and VI. The branch will also help promote the six major Red Cross services accessible to the city and neighboring communities, as well as identify and develop priority areas, maximize chapter’s fund through corporate donation and membership campaign, and promote community-based volunteerism. The PRC elected its board of directors in Kabankalan during its launching and biennial assembly, recently. Elected were Adolfo Mangao Sr., Demetrio Ruiz, Grace Sablaon, Josefa Claudella Pabillo, Noe Abello, Mercedita Zayco, Rogelio Diaz, Jimmy Maravilla, Val Bachita, Jefty Casteelon, Paul Tagamolila and Ma. Virginia Española. Kabankalan City is located at the southern part of Negros Occidental.
