DPWH V readies rehab measures on typhoon-stricken infrastructures
LEGAZPI CITY, Jan 4 (PIA) -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office here has recently completed the preconstruction and procurement activities of the P373 million worth of rehabilitation projects for infrastructures damaged by typhoon and other calamities in Albay.
DPWH V regional director Danilo Dequito said in a radio interview that the fund is sourced from Calamity Fund for fiscal year 2010.
The amount released was based on the report of damages of typhoon Bebeng to the different districts of Albay.
“We do assure the Albayanos, that we adhere to the ‘Tuwid na Daan’ advocacy of this present administration. We are here to serve and give our best for public service,” the director said. (MAL/LVCastañeda, DPWH V)
