Tagalog News: Mas kaunting pag-aaklas sa taong 2011 - DOLE

BALER, Aurora, Enero 5 (PIA) -- Iniulat ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) kahapon, Miyerkules na malaki ang ibinaba ng bilang ng mga nag-aklas sa trabaho noong 2011 dahil na rin sa pinahusay na klima sa paggawa.

Sinabi ni Nicon Fameronag, tagapagsalita ng DOLE na may dalawa lang na welga ang naitala noong nakaraang taon kumpara sa walo noong 2010 habang ang labor disputes ay may 96 porsiyento ang resolution rate.

"Year 2011 was one of the best years for industrial peace. Seventy-five percent ang binaba ng strikes," wika ni Fameronag sa lingguhang Communication News and Exchange forum sa Quezon City.

"On top of that, these two strikes were resolved immediately by the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) (Higit pa dyan, ang dalawang pag-aaklas ay kaagad nalutas ng NCMB)," dagdag pa niya.

Iniugnay ni Fameronag ang pagbaba sa bilang ng paghinto sa trabaho sa single entry approach (SENA) scheme ng DOLE na nagpapahintulot sa pagkakasundo at pag-uusap sa pagitan ng nagkamaling partido.

Ang pamamaraan, na bumuo sa umiiral na labor dispute settlement approaches ng DOLE, ay tapos na sa mga rehiyonal at panlalawigang tanggapan ng kagawaran, aniya.

Sa ilalim ng naturang pamamaraan, magkakasundo ang mga partido bago pa ang sapilitang 30 araw na grace period para sa paghaharap ng arbitrasyon. Pinipigilan nito ang mga kaso na lumaki at maresolba sa pamamagitan ng kasunduan na patas sa mga partido. (WLB/JSL-PIA 3/DOLE)
