PIA Press Release Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Rehab of typhoon-affected infra projects in Isabela assuredby Merlito G. Edale, Jr. ILAGAN, Isabela, January 10 (PIA) -- Governor Faustino G. Dy III and Vice Governor Rodolfo Albano III assured that the rehabilitation and replacement of some infrastructure projects destroyed the recent typhoons will be implemented this year. Governor Dy said among the infrastructure projects that are lined-up to be implemented are the Pigalo bridge at Angadanan, Minanga bridge at San Mariano, flood control projects in rivers, construction of roads and the possible dredging of Magat dam reservoir and Cagayan river respectively. Dy said he and Vice Governor Albano personally meet with Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio Singson to submit the primary infrastructure projects that must be rehabilitated. Dy said that during their meeting with Secretary Singson last week, the latter has assured the two top provincial leaders that the infrastructure projects submitted to him will be prioritized by the DPWH.
