2 from WV make it to top ten of CSC Sub-prof exam

ILOILO CITY, Jan. 13 (PIA6) -- Two examinees from Western Visayas are among the top ten national passers of the Sub-Professional level of the Civil Service Examination-Paper and Pencil Test conducted nationwide last October 16, 2011.

The successful examinees from Region 6 were Justin Alick M. Cordova with a rating of 87.06 and Yvette I. Rabuco with 86.25 rating. Cordova ranked third while Rabuco, fifth among the top ten passers.

Kathlene Luz F. Bugarin of Cardona, Rizal topped the sub-Professional test with a rating of 87. 34 followed by Michael M. De Leon of Central Luzon with 87.26 rating. Other examinees who made it to the top ten are Joseph Czar D. Delson II (Cordillera Administrative Region), 86.59; Julie Rose T. Opada (C. Visayas), 86.21; Donna Estrella P. Monreal (Ilocos Region), 86.18; Anna Dominique M. Obligar (NCR), 86.14; Liezl D. Fabro (S. Tagalog), 86.09; and Kissha H. Albajera (S. Tagalog), 86.05.

The top 10 passers for the professional level are Edgardo P. Almonte (Aroroy, Masbate) garnering a rating of 88.23 Justine Lara A. Millare (National Capital Region), 87.74; Katrina Mae C. Santos (NCR), 87.72; Alyzia Andrea E. Adorna (NCR), 87.68; Kitz Kevin R. Saberon (Central Visayas), 87.66; Kim Arveen M. Patria (NCR), 87.62; Elmer C. Peramo (Southern Tagalog), 87.57; Yvanne Paolo B. Yutuc (S. Tagalog), 87.53; Eumir Alexis R. Angeles (NCR), 87.51; and Oilegor Cash P. Apili (Ilocos Region), 87.45.

Civil Service Commission 6 Information Officer Donna Baldeviso said a total of 766 examinees in the region out of the 6,473 hurdled the CSC written examinations administered in the three testing centers in Kalibo, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental and Iloilo City on Oct. 16. Some 94,251 examinees took the CSC tests across the country.

Of the 766 successful examinees, 640 passed the professional level and 126 passed the sub-professional level.

Baldeviso said the awarding of the certificates of eligibility for examination passers in the region is set today, Jan. 13 at the West Visayas State University Rehearsal Room in Lapaz district.

Passers were encouraged to attend the awarding ceremony, however, those who cannot make it may claim their certificates personally at the CSC 6 Regional Office in Mandurriao, Iloilo City on a date to be announced later.
