Tagalog news: Ph13.8-M proyekto ukol aquaculture sa Palawan pasisinayaan bukas

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan, Ene. 16 (PIA) -- Pasisinayaan ni Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala bukas ang P13.8 milyong aquaculture projects ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Inland Sea Ranching Project (BFAR-ISRP).

Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, inaasahan na mapagbubuti at mapapasigla ang pagpapalago ng industriya ng aquaculture sa Palawan.

Ang mga pasisinayaang proyekto ay ang Fry to Fingerlings Fish Pond Development Project, Palawan Seaweed Tissue Culture Laboratory, at ang Expansion of Multi-Species Hatchery Project.

Ang Ph5 milyong Fry to Fingerlings Fish Pond Development Project ay proyekto kung saan palalakihin ang mga itlog ng lapu-lapu, maya-maya, bangus at apahap sa may apat na ektaryang production area.

Sa loob ng BFAR-ISRP complex matatagpuan ang Ph3.8 milyon Palawan Tissue Culture Laboratory. Sa pamamagitan ng laboratoryo, mapapanatili ang genetic material ng Palawan seaweed at mapagbubuti pa ang kasalukuyan pananim na seaweeds sa lalawigan.

Ang Ph5 milyon Expansion of Multi-Species Hatchery Project ay isang public-private partnership sa pagitan ng city government na nagkaloob ng lupain para sa proyekto, at ang Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) na gumawa naman ng disenyo ng hatchery complex. (VSM/PIA-Palawan)
