Cebuano News: Pilipinas, ‘8th friendliest country’

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Jan. 16 (PIA) -- Napamatud-ang epektib ang slogan sa Department of Tourism nga “It’s more fun in the Philippines human mapili ang Pilipinas isip ika-walo nga “friendliest country” sa resulta sa HSBC Expat Explorer Survey.

Matud pa ni Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte, gipamatud-an lamang sa maong survey nga dili ang gobyerno ang nagbutang sa nasud isip ika-8 sa “friendliest country” apan usa ka ‘third party assessment’.

“We’re also happy to note that in one of the surveys conducted by HSBC, the Philippines ranked as one of the… the eighth friendliest country out of most of the countries rated in the world. And this is why we believe na talagang it really is more fun in the Philippines,” matud pa ni Valte.

Sa maong survey, gipangutana ang naa sa 3,385 expats sa 100 ka nasud sa tibuok kalibotan diin nahimong pang-walo ang Pilipinas.

Ang ranggo sa mga nasud gi-base sa mga mosunod nga kategorya: katakos nga makig-amigo sa mga locals o katawhan; kalampusan sa pagtuon og lengguwahe sa mga locals; katakos sa pakig ingon-ingon ug kampante sa bag-ong kultura.

Matud pa sa survey, ang Pilipinas usa ka nasud sa “friendly wallets” diin kadaghanan sa mga “expatriates” ang nagbaton og access sa mga luho o luxuries apil na ang domestic staff, swimming pools, ug nakapalit pa sila og properties.
