DOLE La Union holds jobsfair in DMMMSU

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, Jan. 18 (PIA) -- The Department of Labor and Employment in La Union will hold a 3-day jobsfair starting today until January 20 at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) here to promote employment opportunities to various graduating students and alumni of the said institution as part of DMMSUs activities on its Foundation Day this week.

This is also part of the strategy of DOLE to create more jobs and generate higher income for the attainment of full decent and productive employment for every Filipino worker as based on the Regional Development Plan.

According to Marlon de Leon, Labor Employment Officer III of the DOLE La Union Provincial Office, the 3-day jobsfair will start from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the recruitment activities will be on the spot as the available job slot covers only local.

To facilitate the processing of applicantions, jobseekers are advised to bring their resume, diploma, and transcript of records, de Leon said.

Job openings include call center agents, sales staff, resorts staff and works related to Construction Industry and Financial Institution. (ANL/MHH-PIA 1 La Union)
