Hundreds of business entrepreneurs avail ‘mass business name registration’ in Quezon

by Lito M. Giron

GUMACA, Quezon, January 19 (PIA) -- Hundreds of business entrepreneurs availed the ‘mass business name registration’ organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Quezon held in this town recently.

DTI senior trade and industry development specialist, Pablito Budoy, said the business name registration lessen expenses and save applicant’s time in travelling to the DTI office to file business name registration.

Budoy explained the importance of bringing the activity nearer to the business sector to help them in developing their business. “This is the first time that the DTI provided ‘on-line’ registration outside their office,” he added.

In the past, Budoy said, they just collect the applications for business registrations and process it in their office but this time, the processing of the registration in full and completed in time.

Other municipalities with streamline connections in processing business name registration include Lucban, Lopez and Tayabas City.

Meanwhile, Budoy pointed out that applications for business name registration are still accepted in their office at the grand central terminal in Lucena City. (LMG, PIA-Quezon)
