PIA Press Release Friday, January 20, 2012 Riyadh needs 30 respiratory therapists - POEAby Carina CayonDAVAO CITY, Jan. 20 (PIA) –- The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in the region has announced that the King Fahad Medical City of Riyadh is in need of 30 respiratory therapists/technicians. POEA Regional Center for Mindanao chief Maria Carolina Agdamag said that male and female graduates of Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) are qualified for the positions. Applicants must also have two years work experience, and must not be more than 45 years of age, Agdamag said. Under POEA’s Government Placement Branch, King Fahad Medical City of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia also needs two assistant respiratory technicians with the same qualifications set for the respiratory therapists. Agdamag said that the respiratory therapist position offers a salary of 4,865 Saudi Riyal, while the assistant respiratory technician has SR3,190 salary. She advised interested individuals to register online at www.poea.gov.ph or www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and personally submit a detailed resume with job description and school credentials at POEA office in Mandaluyong City. Other required documents are the following: employment certificates, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) credentials, valid NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance, original and photocopy of the first page of the passport and six copies of 2x2 recent photos. Deadline of submission of the requirements is set on January 27, 2012. Agdamag further advised those who will register online will be asked to present original documents for authentication of written information before forwarding the resume to the employer.
