Labial TUBOD, Lanao del Norte, Jan. 20 – After successfully completing the first cycle for the KALAHI-CIDSS projects approved for the coastal town of Lala, this progressive municipality is again set to implement another batch of infrastructure projects benefitting 27 barangays. The first cycle included projects for the seven (7) barangays of Camalan, Matampay Bucana, Tunaan, Darumawang Bucana, Andil, Lanipao and San Isidro Lower. To expedite the immediate implementation of cycle 2, Governor Khalid Dimaporo personally handed over to Mayor Allan Lim a check amounting to P1,822.500 representing the provincial monetary counterpart. “This is proof of our strong partnership with the LGUs (local government units). Basta para sa kabutihan ng mga municipalities, the provincial government will always be there to support them,” Governor Dimaporo said. Among the approved projects included in the second cycle are farm to market roads, solar driers, post- harvest facilities and sea wall. Set to benefit from the KALAHI-CIDDS cycle 2 are the barangays of Maranding, Rebe, San Manuel, Simpac, Darumawang Ilaya, El Salvador, Pinuyak, Abaga, Pendulonan, Lanipao, Tenazas, San Isidro Lower, San Isidro Upper, Lala Proper, Matampay Bucana, Matampay Ilaya, Darumawang Bucana, Tunaan, Andil, Santa Cruz Lower, Santa Cruz Upper, Raw-an, Camalan, Pacita, Magpatao, Gumagamot, and Cabasagan. The simple turn-over ceremony was attended Governor Dimaporo, Mayor Lim, LGU-Lala department heads, municipal employees and concerned barangay officials. (PIO/PIA-10) |
