DSWD launches social services databaseQUEZON CITY, January 21 (PIA) -- The delivery for social services of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will now be faster with the launching of its new online database system this morning.
The launching is part of the month long anniversary celebration of the department this January.
The database system aims to provide a faster, better and efficient online transaction between the DSWD, local welfare offices, social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs), service provider (SPs) and other stakeholders.
The system also allows the DSWD, SWDAs and SPs to synchronize their different programs, projects and services including technologies in the delivery of social protection programs.
According to DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman, the academe, local government units, funding agencies/organizations and the public can access the complete and reliable data of SWDAs and SPs in the DSWD web for information sharing and exchange.(DSWD/RJB/LFB-PIA-NCR)
