Mis. Occ. prov’l gov’t gears up for construction, renovation of Capitol bldgby Pat Nano
OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental, Jan. 23 (PIA) -- The construction of the Provincial Capitol building will immediately start after the recent groundbreaking of the project.
Governor Herminia Ramiro said the project will be implemented in full swing in a few days after its capsule–laying.
“Let it be understood that we are implementing the project because we want all our employees who are housed in the capitol to be safe,” she said.
Ramiro said the 77-year old Capitol Building which was built in 1935 needed repairs because of its dilapidated condition. During strong rains, people occupying the office are affected and their documents and other records, along with their computer units get wet. (PIO/PIA-10 Mis. Occ.)
