The Provincial Training Center (PTC) aims to help the unemployed, the undergraduate and other unskilled people be trained in various vocational courses to boost their employment chances.
PTC Training Department Head Samuel Mangusig said about 85 percent of their trainees got employed.
PTC is working closely with the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) in monitoring training activities.
Trainees may prefer a regular program or a short-term courses, said Mangusig.
Regular programs include Shielded Metal Art Welding Training (SMAWT), lectures for electronics, automotive and training methodology.
Driving, electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning and welding are among the short-term courses that the PTC offers. (WLB/CN/PIA-3)
