Fun run to prelude Aurora province's 33rd founding anniversary celebrationBALER, Aurora, Jan. 26 (PIA) -- As part of its 33rd foundation anniversary, the province of Aurora has lined-up events and programs from February 13 to 19 that are anchored on the theme, “Best of Aurora’s Culture, Our Pride! Our Legacy!”
As part of the celebration of Aurora Day 2012, there will be a fun run dubbed as “Takbo Para Kay Doña Aurora” on Feb. 12, 4:00 pm, which will start from Sentro Baler going to the fish port area, then back to Sentro Baler as finish line.
There will be four categories for the run. Participants can opt to choose the 15-km run, 10-km run, 5-km run and the three-km run. Singlets and race bibs will be distributed prior to the event at the start point. There will be a program after the run to completely ease and comfort runners from all categories.
A registration fee of P300 will be collected from participants to defray expenses that will be incurred in the conduct of the activity and to augment funds for charity program of the Provincial Government of Aurora. Students with valid ID shall only pay P100.
