NVizcaya PLGU infra projects in 2011 near completion

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, January 26 (PIA) -- Despite the back logs being experienced by the provincial government regarding the implementation of various infrastructure projects here, these will be completed early this year, provincial officials here said.

Engineer Dennis Naui, provincial engineer, said more than 80 kilometers of road concreting projects are already nearing completion. From the total figure, 56.98 kilometers were implemented by administration while 23.05 kilometers were undertaken by contract, amounting to more than P7 million.

“As of now, we are in the process of concreting the remaining road projects implemented by administration which were funded last year,” he said.

These road projects, according to Naui were the concreting of the 1 - kilometer Nagsabaran-Decabacan-Ampakleng road in Diadi town and the 783-meter Lactawan-Uddiawan-San Juan-Bintawan road in Solano town, La Torre – Casat – Wacal road project in Bayombong town, Indiana – Almaguer – Ineangan road in barangay Almaguer South in Bambang town, San Luis – Villa Aurora in Diadi town and the Luyang reservoir road in Bayombong town.

Naui said the Padol bridge in Quezon town, the only accessible bridge used by farmers in transporting their products, was already constructed through the more than P8 million funding requirement.

Other infrastructure projects, particularly buildings and parks constructed by the provincial government were:

the more than P2 million capitol powerhouse, the more than P1.8 million three - classroom building of Mauan Elementary School in Bambang town , the more than P1.8 million three- classroom building of Macdu Elementary School in Kayapa town, the more than P1.2 million two-classroom building of San Fabian Elementary School in Kayapa town, the more than P.7 million 1-classroom building of Bambang East Elementary School in Bambang town, the more than P.9 million 1-classroom building of Abaca Elementary School in Dupax del Sur town, the more than P.6 million 1-classroom building of Paitan Elementary School in Bayombong town, the more than P1.4 million two-classroom building of Nanciakan Elementary School in Kayapa town, the more than P1.6 million two-classroom building of Bulo-Galsa Elementary School in Kayapa town, the more than P1.4 million two-classroom building of Watwat Elementary School in Kasibu town and the more than P.6 million 1-classroom building of San Luis Elementary School in Solano town.
