115 Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries in Surigao Sur to get capital assistance from DSWDby Greg Tataro, Jr.
TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur, Jan. 27 (PIA) -- Six Self-Employment Assistance sa Kaunlaran (SEA-K) associations consisting of 115 Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries in Lingig town, this province are set to receive capital assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga Region Field Office under Sustainable Livelihood Program/Self-employment Assistance sa Kaunlaran.
To be spearheaded by DSWD-Caraga Regional Director Mercedita Jabagat, the turn-over of check is scheduled on the first week of February at the municipal gymnasium. However, Jabagat did not indicate the worth of the cheque.
Also, Gov. Johnny Pimentel is expected to give his inspirational message on said event.
Both 2nd District Cong. Florencio Garay and Lingig Mayor Henry Dano, along with some local government officials are also expected to grace the occasion. (Radyo Ng Bayan-Tandag/PIA Surigao del Sur)
