OrindayPAGBILAO, Quezon, Jan. 31 (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Quezon Provincial Office, Quezon National Agricultural School (QNAS) and the Quezon Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council will launch a business incubation program intended for small entrepreneurs on February 9 at QNAS function hall, Barangay Silangang Malicboy, this town. Pablito Budoy of DTI - Quezon said that they have availed P1 million from the BMBE development fund to purchase equipment to be used for business incubation program. The equipment include automatic fine powder packing for milk powder and coffee worth P280,000.00; super sealer sealing machine amounting P86,000.00; Hualian continous vertical band sealer worth P25,000.00 and table top automatic vacuum packaging machine amounting P130,000.00. The said equipment are stored at the Quezon National Agricultural School in Pagbilao town and small entrepreneurs may rent any of the said equipment to be used in good packaging or sealing their products manufactured such as instant coffee and other products, Budoy added. Budoy also said small entrepreneur may provide his own equipment if he has an enough fund or capacity to purchase the equipment needed. Meanwhile, the Quezon National Agricultural School food processing center also offers trainings that are needed by small entrepreneurs in Quezon province. Pagbilao mayor Romeo Portes, Rep. Wilfrido Mark M. Enverga, Matt Navalta, DTI Regional Director Marilou Q. Toledo and TESDA Regional Director Cecille B. Gutierrez are expected to attend the occasion. (RMO/ PIA- Quezon) |
