According to SJINSP Benny Freddie C. Cobarde, BJMP warden, teaching inmates on proper waste segregation is essential as part of the programs of their rehabilitation facility which also generates waste materials.

Cobarde added that the activity, which he requested to be held for the inmates, is part of the Therapeutic Community Modality Program of the BJMP.
