Gov. Ocampos samples Camiguin OTOP products, delicacies: Misamis Occidental Governor Loreto Leo S. Ocampos, president of the League of Provinces of the Philippines, drops by the Camiguin OTOP (One Town, One Product) Booth to sample its display of products and delicacies during the opening of the Northern Mindanao Regional Trade Fair 2007 at the Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City. The Camiguin booth, according to DTI-Camiguin provincial director Joselito S. Enot, displayed and sold abaca by-products, virgin coconut oil, world-class coiled nito baskets and jars, and popular delicacies like the pastel of Vjandep Bakeshop, Maestrado Tablea, Soling's Piniato and Ampaw, and Fresh from the Farm and Nutricam calamansi concentrate, among others. Set up by the Department of Trade and Industry to add color to the Kagay-an Festival 2007, the August 23-29 trade fair showcased quality products and services of OTOP and other small-and-medium entrepreneurs in the region.
