 The PNOC-Alternative Fuels Corporation (PNOC-AFC) and the Philippine Agricultural Development and Commeal Corporation (PADCC) sign MOU for identification of lands from various parts of the country for proposed jatropha plantations. The two GOCCs shall join their capabilities, experiences and resources to collaborate in the identification of lands suitable and most advantageous for the proposed jatropha commercial plantations of PNOC-AFC. PADCC will provide support in the evaluation of identified agricultural lands, making sure that these areas are suitable for jatropha cultivation, and endorse the project to interested and qualified landowners and growers. PNOC-AFC is keen on using marginal and idle lands for the jatropha plantation project.
