 MOU for Aurora iSchools Broadband Internet: Senator Edgardo J. Angara (right, front row) today signed a memorandum of understanding with Mabuhay Satellite Corp. (MSC) represented by MSC President Gary Pimentel (seated second from right), the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) represented by Secretary Conrado A. Limcaoco Jr (seated second from left), and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) represented by Secretary Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua III, in simple ceremonies Friday (February 5) at the Manila Polo Club in Makati. The MOU will provide broadband internet connection to 20 pilot schools in Aurora Province under the CICT's iSchools Project, using VSATs and hub facilities of PIA, with satellite bandwidth provided by MSC who also manages the VSAT subsystem for PIA under the terms of the MOU.
