PcSupt Rey L Laņada, PRO8 Regional Director, hands over a plaque of appreciation and a memento to Atty Jose Nick A Mendros, Comelec 8 Regional Director, during the recent Distinguished Visitor's Program at PRO8 Parade and Grandstand, Camp Ruperto K Kangleon, Palo, Leyte. The Comelec has tasked the PNP and other law enforcement agencies to strictly enforce the total gun ban. Under the Comelec guidelines, those authorized to carry firearms during the campaign period are uniformed PNP, AFP, NBI and other accredited agencies.
