Pres. Arroyo leads groundbreaking of water system in Masiu town, Lanao Sur: President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo leads the groundbreaking ceremonies of the Masiu town's P8-million potable water system project of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA). Further, the President inaugurated the newly constructed three-storey Masiu municipal hall building. The projects intend to lift the province of Lanao del Sur from being among the 10 hungriest provinces in the country. The President is accompanied by Press Secretary Crispulo Icban Jr, Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman, Public Works Secretary Vic Domingo and Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Horacio Ramos. She is warmly welcomed by residents and local officials led by ARMM Acting Governor Ansaruddin Adiong, Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr., Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Faysah Dumarpa, 2nd District Rep. Pangalian Balindong, Masiu Mayor Nasser Pangandaman Jr., and Unda Memorial National Agricultural School (UMNAS) principal Dipangampong Unda. (Wilmer M.
