President Benigno Simeon Aquino III inspects the upgraded Radiology Department facility during the Inauguration of the upgraded facilities of East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) in Quezon City Monday February 14, 2011. A new 1-storey building houses the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine and an array of imaging technologies such as ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography. Presently, there are two brand new x-ray machines available. Aside from its standard imaging application, fluoroscopy in real time can also be accomplished using these equipments. Joining the President in the tour and inspection are EAMC Medical Director Dr. Roland Cortez, Chief Medical Professional Staff II Dr. Victoria Abesamis, Health Secretary Enrique Ona, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairperson Margarita Juico, House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
