BLEND for sustainable livelihood. Representatives of barangays Sindaton, Lower Panaga, Manay, and New Visayas in Panabo City gather in a seminar about starting a vermiculture project in their community. Barangay Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development (BLEND) program, which is a collaboration of Ms. Margie Moran-Floirendo, DTI, Office of Rep. Anton Lagdameo, Office of FABC President Vincent Floirendo, TADECO, and other government agencies is starting to materialize its goal of economic empowerment and self-reliance among the rural communities. Their mission is to mobilize the partner barangays in starting their community livelihood projects and assisting them through necessary networking with government and private agencies for important resources as well as skills development like this seminar-training. BLEND is projected to be implemented in other Davao del Norte barangays from the four mentioned pilot barangays. [TADECO Corpcomm] |
