CSC to hold public sector labor management congress

Tacloban City (26 August) -- Come the month of September, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be celebrating the agency's 105th anniversary as an agency. The agency has lined-up activities for the whole month undertaken at both the national and regional levels.
At the national level, the CSC will hold a labor congress where representatives coming from both management and employees organizations are invited to attend. The activity called the "2005 National Public Sector Labor Management Congress" will be held on September 22, 2005 at the Ramon Magsaysay Hall, Social Security System, East Avenue, Quezon City.
Activities to be undertaken during the congress includes the following: A discussion on the Amended Rules and Regulations Governing the Exercise of Government Employees of the Right to Organize (EO 3180); A lecture on the Civil Service Commission's initiative toward a graft-free bureaucracy; and selection of employees representatives to sit in as observer status to the Public Sector Labor Management Council (PSLMC).
A registration fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php1,500.00) per participant shall be collected to defray the expenses for snacks, lunch and Congress Kit.
Interested regional participants are requested to register with the CSC Regional Office. Registration forms are available at the CSC Regional Office and field offices.
