BSP confers "Silver Usa" award to Governor Cerilles
Pagadian City (13 April) -- The National Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines recently conferred to Scouter AURORA E. CERILLES the SILVER USA award for her meritorious service rendered to scouting in the recent years.
In a letter sent to Council Scout Executive Bienvenido Toledo, J. Rizal C. Pangilinan, Secretary General of the BSP National Office informed Toledo that in a meeting called for the purpose, the body was unanimous in its decision to grant the award to Governor Aurora E. Cerilles and looks forward to her continued support to the Scouting Movement.
Governor Cerilles is also invited to attend the National Court of Honor on May 24, 2007 at the Leyte Academic Center, Palo, Leyte at 3:30 in the afternoon to personally receive her award.
Toledo said that he has yet to confirm the Governorís attendance to the Director, Program and Adult Resources Development not later than May 15, 2007. The Scout Executive added that it is a great pride and honor for us that Governor Cerilles was conferred the award and hopes that she will not waver in her support to the movement.
