Oro exec approves more barangay projects

Cagayan de Oro City (19 April) -- CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano approved more barangay projects in barangays Dansolihon and Balulang.

Among the projects approved by Mayor Emano are a school stage in Dansolihon Elementary School worth P350,000 and the purchase of one fire truck for the residents in Barangay Balulang.

Mayor Emano hoped that the approval of the said projects is in consonance with the city government’s intention to address the felt and pressing needs of the people in the barangays.

This is also part of the city government’s Barangay Empowerment Program, which allows barangay officials to identify the projects that they want to implement in their respective areas. (Cagayan de Oro City Information Office/PIA-MisOrOccCam i-Net) [top]
