by Robert E. Roperos

BUTUAN CITY (April 26) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Caraga Region is set to conduct a trade and livelihood fair on May 1, 2007 at Father Saturnino Urios University, in time with the celebration of the Labor Day.

The trade and livelihood fair will feature local products of the region produced by selected beneficiaries of the livelihood assistance program of DTI-13 and assisted projects of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - Caraga.

According to DTI and DOLE officials, the promotion of these local products is expected to draw support from the regional and national public and private organizations.

With these developments, the concerned government agencies called on all Caraganons to discover and explore new products and technology that will enhance the livelihood programs of the region. This, according to an official of DTI-13, will also help in the development of the economy in the country. (PIA-13) [top]
