POEA announces job openings during "Harampang"

Tacloban City (26 April) -- The Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE), Region 8 headed by Regional Director Forter Puguon and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) represented by its Regional Coordinator Rosario Jervoso who were among the guests during the "Harampang Ha PIA” on April 26, announced several job openings abroad.

During the “Harampang”, Jervoso bared that a Summer Overseas Jobs Fair will be conducted by the Leyte Park Resort Hotel in coordination with the Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc.

Said Jobs Fair, Jervoso said, which will be assisted by DOLE and POEA, will be held at the Leyte Park Food Plaza on April 30 and May 1, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

During the press conference, POEA also announced that there are also job openings in Saudi Arabia which are as follows: female respiratory therapists, female nurses, dental technicians, female medical technologists, female physical therapists, female x-ray technicians, and female dental assistants.

For qualifications and specific requirements for the above mentioned job openings, one may visit the POEA Office, or one may call Tel. No. 321-7134 during office hours, from Monday to Friday.

Meanwhile, other invited guests during the “Harampang Ha PIA” which was moderated by Regional Director Erlinda Olivia Tiu were Norma Tupaz of the Professional Regulation Commission, Elizabeth Garcia and Elizabeth Canales of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and Florencio Aguilos of the Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board.
