PRO 12 turns over new patrol cars and service firearms
General Santos City (30 April) -- Police Regional Office 12 formally turned over the eleven units of Toyota Hi-Lux Patrol Pick Up trucks or the Calderon Troop Carrier Safety to recipient units.
It also turned over 100 9mm caliber pistols as issuances to policemen without service firearms yet.
PCSupt. Felizardo Serapio, regional director said the newly procured vehicles will be given to the Headquarters, Regional Mobile Group 12, the Provincial Police Mobile Group (PPMG) to include the 1201st PPMG, 1202nd PPMG, 1204th PPMG, 1205th PPMG, 1206th PPMG, 1207th PPMG and 1208th PPMG, Cotabato City Police Office, City Mobile Group (CMG) and General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO).
In his message, Serapio pointed out that with the issuance of police cars and firearms he expects the quality of police service delivered to the community will be enhanced with the objective of improving police service and response.
The ceremony was attended by the PRO 12 Command Group and personnel, Regional Mobile Group (RMG) 12, different officers and supply personnel of police offices in the region and partners from the tri-media.
Together with the help of the force multipliers and the earnest efforts of the police to battle various criminal syndicates and advocacy campaigns targeted at, among others, or crime prevention in general, there will be an even stronger and peaceful region 12, Serapio said.
