Tagalog News: Cotabato residents na-alarma sa sunod-sunod na pamamaril

Cotabato City (1 September) -- Nababahala ang maraming mamamayan laluna ang mga negosyante sa sunod-sunod na kaso ng pamamaril sa lungsod ng Cotabato.

Dakong ika-walo ng umaga, noong August 29, binaril at napatay ng din a nakilalang assailant's si local SSS-OIC Macario Calunsag habang lulan ng isnag pedicab patungo ng opisina. Di pa matukoy ng pulisya ang identity ng mga suspects at ang motibo ng pamamaslang habang patuloy ang isinasagawang imbestigasyon.

Nang araw ding iyon, isang di nakilalang lalaki ang pinag-babaril hanggang sa mapatay ng di nakilalang suspect sa Poblacion 2 bago magtanghali.

Samantala binaril naman ng di pa nakilalang suspect si Cotabato City Postmaster Sultan Akmad Camsa lulan ng kanyang sasakyan kasama ang kanyang maybahay na kinilalang si Catherine habang pauwi sa Sarilikha Village, Datu Odin Sinsuat bago mag-alas singko ng hapon, kahapon, Agosto 30. si Camsa ay nagtamo ng maraming tama sa katawan na naging sanhi ng kanyang agarang kamatayan samantalang nakaligtas naman ang asawang si Catherine na nadaplisan lamang.

Ayon kay City Councilor Abdullah Andang, committee on police matters chair ng Sangguniang Panglungsod, lubhang nakababahala ang mga sunod-sunod na pamamaril at kanyang itinuturing na matinding "sampal" sa city police. (pbc/PIA 12) [top]
