Everything set for upcoming 6th ARMM Business Congress

Cotabato City (4 September) -- "We are ready for this year's business congress," says Romy Diocolano, Executive Director of the ARMM Business Council. "Although, we are still sorting out some of the finances, we see no reason why the 6th ABC won't be successfully conducted like the previous ones."

The 6th ARMM Business Congress will be held on September 4-5, 2007 at the El-Manuel Entertainment and Convention Center this city.

The ABC serves as a prime venue that draws together key players in the region's economy businessmen, government officials and other policymakers in the private sector.

Aside from allowing participants to get in the know of doing business in ARMM and the chance to showcase their products and services, the event facilitates linkages among entrepreneurs within the region as well as prospective business partners based outside.

This year, businessmen from the region hope to expand their business linkages to the rest of the country by tying up with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (PCCI) and the Makati Business Club.

Larzon Santos, chief investment specialist of the Regional Board of Investment (RBOI)-ARMM, said that ARMM remains a highly ideal investment destination with its leading marine and agriculture-based industries to select from and vast opportunities on emerging business ventures.
