Tagalog News: Magandang resulta ng NAT ikinagalak ng Pangulo

Manila (5 September) -- Ikinagalak ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang magandang resulta ng ginanap na National Achievement Test (NAT) ng nakaraang Marso sa mga mag-aaral na nasa ika-anim na baitang sa mga pampublikong paaralan.

Sa resulta ng ginanap na eksaminasyon, 1.6 million na mga mag-aaral mula sa 30,000 na mga pampublikong paaralan ang nakakuhan ng Mean Percentage Score (MPS) na 59.94% or 5.28% na tumaas ng dalawang porsyento kumpara sa inaasahan ng Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE) sa ilalim ng Department of Education.

Base sa resulta ng ekaminasyon na iniulat ni DepEd Secretary Jesli Lapus kay Pangulong Arroyo, nagpapakita na umunlad ng 12.36% ang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa Mathematics, 10.28% sa Science at 12.45% naman sa English kumpara ng nasalipas na taon.

Ayon kay Lapus, ang 2007 National Achievement Test (NAT) ay kabilang sa kampanya ng DepEd na mapa-unlad at magbigyan ng kalidad na edukasyon ang mga mag-aaral sa mga pampublikong paaralan. (Abb/PIA 12) [top]
