'Scenes and Landmarks of Divisoria' exhibits at Tourism Showhouse

Cagayan de Oro City (5 September) -- VARIOUS artists gathered together to celebrate the beauty and richness of Cagayan de Oro, especially the heart of the city--Divisoria, in the form of art in different genres.

Their artworks are featured in an art exhibit entitled, "Scenes and Landmarks of Divisoria," a group art exhibit at the Tourism Showhouse on August 1- September 15, 2007 featuring the works of artists Jonathan Obsioma, Rhyan Casino, Marvin Pader, Angela Pascual, Liza Mae Rendal, Roger Anthony Silay and Arlox Piquero in the form of canvas.

Another group named Project 8, a group of eight photographers, graphic artists and writers headed by Maryann Zamora, showcases their works in photographs.

Having the same passion for art, the artists showcased the beauty of Divisoria area seen by people in ordinary times.

The exhibit is part of the City Tourism Office's campaign to promote young and talented Cagayanons.
