Tagalog News: PGMA nagpalabas ng kautusan sa pagpapatayo ng IMO

Manila (6 September) -- Nagpalabas si Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ng isang Executive Order para sa pagpapatayo ng International Media Office (IMO) sa bansa upang mapaunlad ang coverage ng mga overseas media events at ang pangangailan sa organisasyon na tutulong sa pagpaplano at koordinasyon na mapaabot sa international media ang mga proyekto ng pamahalaan.

Sa ilalim ng Executive Order, ang IMO ay ipapatayo sa ilalim ng Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), National Security Counsil (NSC), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Department of Tourism (DOT,) Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE).

Ayon naman sa Department of Budget and Management, nagtalaga na ang Pangulo ng paunang P30 milyon na pondo para sa operasyon ng IMO at sa communication campaigns nito. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
