Tagalog News: PGMA nagbigay ng executive clemency sa 16 bilanggo

Manila (6 September) -- Inaprobahan na ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang executive clemency ng labing-anim na bilanggo na nasangkot sa iba't-ibang kaso ng criminal offenses upang makapagsimula ang mga ito ng panibago at maayos na buhay sa labas ng bilangguan.

Ang mga bilanggo na nabigyan ng pagkakataong makalaya ay sina Francisco Buendia, Samuel Barredo, Juan Garing, Samuel Garing, Marcos Manalang, at Romulo Rivera.

Sina Peter Canonigo, Ava Ma. Victoria Cariquez, Darwin Dy, Rolando Halog, Danilo Montano, Renante Perlas, Rhodesa Silan, Pepe Tranquia, Edgardo Vargas at Allan Villa naman ay pinalaya ng Pangulo dahil sa puspusang pakikipag-ugnayan ng mga pamilya at abogado ng mga ito. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
