DOT-10 offers Basic Conversational Korean Language classes
Cagayan de Oro City (6 September) -- Due to the influx of Korean tourists in the country today, especially in Northern Mindanao, the Department of Tourism-10 (DOT-10) will conduct a seminar on Basic Conversational Korean Language and Culture on September 10-14, 2007 at the VIP Hotel, this city.
DOT-10 Regional Director Catalino Chan III said that it is high time for locals, especially frontline service providers, to know Korean language and culture to be able to assist Korean tourists better.
Juhee Kim, a volunteer from the Korean government, will personally conduct the seminar together with DOT Manila staff.
The five-day seminar is worth P1,000 inclusive of one snack and lunch per day, hand-outs, kits and certificates.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 50 students only.
