77 hurdle civil service exam in Caraga

by Reynante S. Llanos

BUTUAN CITY (September 6) -- A total of 77 successful examinees passed the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Career Service Examination Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Subprofessional levels.

Out of 287 examinees, only 17 passed the subprofessional level, which constituted 5.92 percent, while 60 out of 2,260 examinees made it on the professional level, which constituted 2.66 percent, respectively, who took the tests on July 22, 2007 at the CSC Caraga Regional Office.

The new CSC policy required the successful examinees to personally appear at the CSC Regional Office upon claiming their Certificate of Eligibility (COE) together with two recent passport size ID pictures with nametag preferably similar to the picture attached in the picture-seat-plan and affixed their signature on the Certificate of Eligibility. Digitally enhanced, scanned or photocopied pictures are not allowed and nametags should not be computer-generated.

The CSC Caraga Regional Office will also be conducting a special day for an Orientation Seminar on Government Service and the distribution of the COE to successful examinees at Luciana Convention Center, J. Rosales Avenue, Butuan City on September 18, 2007 to start at 8:00 o'clock in the morning.

On the other hand, for those examinees who did not pass the examinations, their report ratings will be mailed to their respective addresses through the Post Office or they may personally inquire to the nearest field office within Caraga Region. (PIA-13) [top]
