PANGASINAN (11 September) -- Two big cities of the province will host the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office's 'Walang Kupas' Roadshow project in the second and third week of September.
Dagupan City and Urdaneta City will benefit from the day-long medical and dental mission to be manned by 35 medical personnel of PCSO and the two cities. A concert-promo that will be held in the evening will feature the winning bands of the 'Tongkantangto' band search (seen in PSCO television and radio ads) plus games and other surprises.
Regional Director Abraham Libadia of the Philippine Information Agency, PCSO's partner agency, said 'Project Walang Kupas' is a year -long creative campaign designed to promote PCSO products and services and promote the agency's medical and health services as well as products aimed at revenue generation in key cities outside Metro Manila
PCSO, he said, will bring the Walang Kupas roadshow to the provinces to mount a public information campaign on product facets as well as reinforce public support for its revenue sand service programs.
Through the years, the agency's medical mission has proven to be an effective health intervention mechanism providing the less fortunate with access to basic medical services, he added.
In Dagupan City, the medical mission and concert will be held on September 13 with the People's Astrodome and the City Plaza as venues, respectively.
The Urdaneta Sports Complex will serve as the roadshow venue in Urdaneta City on September 18.
"By doing these campaigns at the grassroots level, the public can be better informed on the symbiotic relationship between the service and revenue roles of PCSO", Libadia said. (PIA-Pangasinan) [top]
