Tagalog News: PNP: Peace and Order sa lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat, "manageable"

Koronadal City (14 September) -- Sa pangkalahatan, payapa at tahimik pa rin ang buong lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat, ito ang ulat ni Police Superintendent Teng Mamalinta Tocao sa nakaraang pagpupulong ng Provincial Peace and Order Council.

Ini-ulat ni Tocao na nagkaroon ng pagbaba ng crime volume sa unang kalahating bahagi ng taong 2007 sa kabila ng karahasang naitala kaugnay ng May elections, gaya ng bomb threats, extortion at iba pa.

Sa kabila ng pagkakaroon ng normal at "manageable peace and order situation" ng lalawigan, ipinahayag ni Tocao na round-the clock pa ring naka-alerto ang mga elemento ng Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office (SKPPO) upang hadlangan ang mga karahasan at banta sa seguridad ng bawat mamamayan ng lalawigan.

Pinasalamatan din ni Tocao ang suporta at tulong ng local government units, Armed Forces of the Philippines na nakabase sa lalawigan, mga barangay tanod, CVOs at ng komunidad na masigasig na nagbabantay upang pangalagaan ang kapakanan ng bawat residente laban sa terorismo. (AC Agad/PIA 12) [top]
