Tagalog News: PGMA inihayag ang paglikha ng Procurement Transparency groups

Manila (14 September) -- Sa ginanap na launching ceremony ng Bishops-Ulama Conference BUC-AFP-PNP Forum for Peace sa Malakanyang kamakailan, ibinunyag ni Pangulong Arroyo ang pagbuo ng dalawang Procurement Transparency Board (PTB) ang Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) at ng Pro-Performance Infrastructure Monitoring Group (PIMG).

Ayon pa sa Pangulo, layunin ng PTB na seguruhing mayroon malinaw at magandang pamamalakad sa mga public investments ng bansa. Isa sa mga hakbang na gagampanan ng PTB ang pagmonitor sa procurement bidding at ang pagsumbong ng mga anomalya sa mga concerned agency heads.

Inaprubahan rin ng gabinete ang paglikha ng hiwalay na infra monitoring group na magpapabuti sa relasyon ng civil society at ng private sector na sesegurong naaabot ng public work projects ang mga layunin at pangangailangan nito.

Inihayag ng Pangulo ang paglikha ng dalawang grupo kasabay ng pagkakaroon ng anim na milyong trabaho sa loob ng anim na taon na tumulong naman upang maitaas ang sahod ng mga kawani at mapababa ang poverty rate sa bansa. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
