Ifugao council of personnel officers conducts local officials' forum

LAGAWE, Ifugao (14 September) -- To impart knowledge and clarify issues and concerns regarding Civil Service Laws, Rules, Regulations and policies on recruitment, selection/screening, promotion process and to disseminate programs/policies of the Technological Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Audit, the Ifugao Council of Personnel Officers (ICPO) in partnership with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will conduct a Local Officials' forum to government officials and employees, here.
Leilina Grace Gulele ICPO President disclosed that there is a need to conduct this forum to reinforce the officials their knowledge of the civil services laws thus will be motivated to better appreciate their applications for a more responsive public service.
"We are strengthening our Human Resource Departments by bringing to their doorsteps services to its employees in order to effectively mobilize, motivate, manage and empower its human resources", she added.
The forum discusses details in recruitment, selection and appointment that include Pre- Assessment Stage; Assessment Proper; and Post-Assessment Stage; and topics on Civil Service Rules, Laws and Regulations and updates on COA and TESDA programs and policies.
Officers and members of Personnel Selection Board (PSB), members of the Personnel Screening Committee (PERC), chaired by the Chief Executive, Heads of Offices and other Human Resources Management Practitioners are tapped to join the forum. (PIA Ifugao) [top]
