Tagalog News: South Central Mindanao dumanas ng malawakang brown-out

Koronadal, South Cotabato (18 September) -- Humihingi ng paumanhin sa lahat ng mga apektadong consumers ang National Transmission Corporation (TransCo) - Mindanao Operations and Maintenance (MOM) na nakabase sa Iligan City kaugnay sa nangyaring power interruption buong araw kahapon (September 17, 2007).

Ayon kay TRANSCO-MOM Corporate Communications Officer Elizabeth Anaviso Ladaga nakatuon ngayon ang pansin at patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng load dispatch unit (LDU) sa high-voltage equipment at sa mga protective devices ng Kibawe Substation sa Bukidnon at Agus Substation sa Lanao del Sur na pinaghihinalaang dahilan ng malawakang brown-out.

Apektado ng power interruption kahapon ay ang mga lalawigan ng Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, North Cotabato, Shariff Kabunsuan at Maguindanao. Kabilang din sa mga apektadong lungsod ang General Santos, Cotabato, Tacurong, Kidapawan, at ang Koronadal.

Ipinangako naman ng TRANSCO na magpapalabas agad ng news release sakaling matukoy ang dahilan ng unstable power situation na nangyari kahapon sa buong South Central Mindanao. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
