Murcia town turns over 6 ambulances to barangays

Murcia, Negros Occidental (18 September) -- Six ambulances were recently turned to the different barangay officials for a more complete health service.

These vehicles are the final batch to complete 23 barangays to have their own units for emergencies especially late at night.

Murcia Mayor Esteban Cosculluela has been in full thrust in health services reaching far-flung barangays to bring the government closer to the people.

All barangay ambulances and the Murcia Health Center operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Murcia Health Center has been recognized by Department of Health as Sentrong Sigla Phase II, Level I, Health Facility, the first in Negros Occidental. (PIA/cad) [top]
