PCSO medical-dental teams serve over 1,000 Santiago residents
SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela (September 19) -- The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office has delivered to the residents here its outreach medical and dental services last week which benefited more than one thousand Santiaguenos.
The PCSO's medical and dental teams headed by Dr. Ma. Isabel Ambrosio, including this city's health office personnel, has atleast 1, 069 medical and 170 dental problems given free consultation and medicines from the PCSO.
The medical and dental mission of PCSO to Santiago City is part of patronizing the PCSO's Lottery games where Santiago City runs second in terms of Lotto sales in Cagayan Valley region and some parts of cordillera as shown on the comparative sales from PCSO Isabela District Office.
Santiaguenos were elated for the services rendered by PCSO last week.One of the patient, Mrs. Nenita Valdez, a 60-year old woman who is suffering from cough and colds and resides at a forest barangay here, said she was very thankful to the City government of informing her of the free medical mission of PCSO worrying no more to the consultation and medicine expenses on her sickness.
A free concert was also shown in the evening after the medical and dental mission featuring the JC Radio Band that rocks the floor of the Antonio M. Abaya Coliseum (former Santiago People's Coliseum).
The free medical-dental mission and concert were conducted in coordination of the City officials of Santiago thru the leadership of Mayor Amelita Sison-Navarro, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Philippine Information Agency. (PIA Isabela) [top]
