Tagalog News: NBN probe at alegasyon ng batang de Venecia tutugunan ng pamahalaan

Manila (20 September) -- Inatasan na ni Pangulong Arroyo ang kanyang gabinete na pagtuunan ng pansin ang senate investigation ng NBN project upang wakasan ang mga agam-agam na maaaring magdulot ng hindi magandang epekto sa imahe ng bansa.

Ayon kay Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita ang kautusan ng Pangulo ay nagpapakita rin na walang tinatago ang administrasyon lalo na sa umanoy kontrata nito sa ZTE Corporation n China.

Binigyang diin ng Pangulo na walang kahihinatnan ang mga "tales of conspiracy" na nililihis lamang ang atensiyon ng mamamayan mula sa totoo at magagandang gains na tinatamo ng bansa kabilang ang pagbubukas ng mga trabaho, isyung pangkalusugan at edukasyon, at ang pagbaba ng singil sa kuryente.

Binansagan naman ni Pangulong Arroyo na isang "vaudeville act" ang imbestigasyon ng Senado sa $329.4 Million National Broadcasting Network (NBN) project at ang kontrobersyal na mga rebelasyon ni Jose "Joey" de Venecia laban kay First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo at COMELEC Chairman Benjamin Abalos.
