Research Fair 2007 opens Monday at NEDA-sa-Makati

Quezon City (23 September) -- The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), together with other government and private research organizations, will open Monday, 24 September at 9:30am at the NEDA-sa-Makati the weeklong Research Fair 2007 as part of the observance of the 5th Development Policy Research Month.
The Research Fair exhibit will open at the Salas Hall, NEDA-sa-Makati Building, 106 Amorsolo Street, Makati City, with former NEDA Director General Cielito Habito and League of Cities President Ben Hur Abalos as guests.
This exhibit will showcase recent research outputs from PIDS, NEDA, AIM policy Center, Ateneo School of Government, German Technical Cooperation, National Statistical Coordination Board, Institute of Labor Studies, Social Weather Station, Ibon Foundation, UP, UST, DSLU and other prominent institutions.
The public may view the exhibit, which will run until September 26, right after the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Later in the afternoon, there will be a briefing on the Guidelines on the Provincial/Local Planning and Expenditure Management at the C. P. Romulo Hall.
