Tagalog News: AFP offensive vs ASG patuloy ngayong Ramadhan

Koronadal City (25 September) -- Habang ang Armed Forces sa Western Mindanao ay nagkaisa sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa kanilang paggunita ng Ramadhan, sinabi ni Western Mindanao Command Chief Maj. Gen. Nelson Allaga na patuloy pa rin ang kanilang operasyon laban sa mga terorista katulad ng Abu Sayyaf.

Ayon sa kanya "we are with our Muslim brothers sa paggunita ng Ramadhan dahil ito ay oras para sa souls-searching" ngunit sila ay patuloy na magsasagawa ng major offensives laban sa mga Abu Syyaf. We are only after the bad guys, dagdag pa ni Allaga."

Binigyang diin din ni Allaga na walang collateral damage sa mga civilians dahil ang kanilang operasyon ay base sa kunpirmadong intelligence report.

Kanya ring pinabulaanan ang alegasyon na mayroong pag-aalsa sa military. "Walang sasama dyan", at patuloy na pinapaalalahan ang kanyang mga tauhan sa kanilang pangako sa Konstitusyon. (PIA 12) [top]
